Introduction and Purpose
Hare Krishna! Welcome to the website of the ISKCON Krishna House of Columbus, Ohio! The Columbus temple is a part of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). ISKCON is also known as the Hare Krishna movement, which was stated by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. If this is your first visit, please take your time and have a look around. We're glad you stopped by and hope you enjoy the site!
The purpose of this site is to introduce visitors to the Columbus temple and its programs and events. Since we have so much going on at the temple, this site is dedicated more towards our specific temple than to Krishna Consciousness as a whole. If you are a newcomer to Krishna Consciousness and would like to know more about the Krishna religion, philosophy, books, history, or about being a devotee, we suggest you check out our Links page.
We always have guest devotees coming to the Krishna House evening programs to share their experiences, insights, and nectar with us. Please check the Events page often to see who might be coming. You are always invited to join us for a program, so please see our Schedule for days and times. We welcome theology and philosophical classes. If needed, follow this link for Directions to the temple. If you are unable to come in person, please have Darshan (viewing) of our beautiful Deities, Sri Sri Radha Natabara. Also, don't miss the online version of our Newsletter we put out.
