Dear Friends, This August 12th, 2001, we will be celebrating Sri Krishna Janmastami at the ISKCON Hare Krishna House. We would be honored to have the presence of yourself and your family at this most blessed event. Every year we commemorate Lord Krishna's appearance in this world with a wonderful festival. The scriptures explain that by participating in these festivals we can increase and intensify our devotion to the Lord. The festivities shall begin at 5:30 p.m. They will be followed by a feast of Krishna Maha Prasadam. Throughout the program there will be various bhajans, kirtans, dramas, and other cultural presentations in honor of this most blessed event. We invite you and your family to participate for the whole evening or even for just a part of it. The founder-acarya of the Hare Krishna movement, His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada actually came to Columbus in 1968 and revealed his desire to have a temple in Columbus where Lord Krishna would be worshipped and gloried.
